Gamuda Land invests RM150 million in its first hotel, expanding Gamuda Cove’s hospitality and tourism offerings.

Gamuda Land Invests RM150M in First Hotel Project
Gamuda Land is investing RM150 million to develop its first hotel project, ASAI Gamuda Cove, in Selangor in partnership with Dusit International. The 280-room lifestyle hotel is designed to complement the township’s residential, commercial and eco-tourism offerings.
Expanding Gamuda Cove’s Ecosystem
Located within the 619-hectare Gamuda Cove, the hotel will be managed under Dusit’s ASAI Hotels brand. The development is positioned to serve both local and international visitors attracted to nearby destinations including SplashMania Waterpark, Discovery Park and Paya Indah Discovery Wetlands.
Supporting Tourism and Property Growth
The hotel forms part of Gamuda Land’s strategy to create a more complete township ecosystem by combining residential, commercial, leisure and hospitality components. Gamuda Cove’s accessibility to Putrajaya, Cyberjaya and Kuala Lumpur is also expected to support its appeal as a destination for residents and visitors.
Why It Matters
Gamuda Land’s move into hospitality highlights how property developers are increasingly adding tourism and lifestyle components to large township developments. By introducing a hotel alongside its existing attractions and residential projects, Gamuda Cove could strengthen its position as an integrated destination in Selangor.
