Mah Sing acquires RM186.17 million land in Ampang for its proposed RM1.92 billion M Araya serviced apartment project.

Mah Sing Expands Ampang Presence
Mah Sing Group Bhd is strengthening its presence in Ampang with an RM186.17 million land acquisition for its proposed RM1.92 billion M Araya residential development. The acquisition covers about 14.38 acres across three adjoining parcels, adding another major project to the developer’s Klang Valley pipeline.
M Araya Development
M Araya is planned as a serviced apartment development with indicative built-up areas of 700 to 1,000 sq ft, with prices starting from RM399,000. The project is aimed at young professionals, first-time buyers, growing families and existing homeowners looking to upgrade while remaining in the Ampang area.
Established Ampang Market
M Araya will be Mah Sing’s third development in Ampang, following M Suites and M City, both of which have been fully sold. The developer sees Ampang as an established residential market supported by connectivity, amenities and a sizeable population catchment.
Why It Matters
The acquisition highlights Mah Sing’s strategy of expanding its landbank in established locations with existing infrastructure and residential demand. With registration of interest targeted for Q1 2027 and launch planned later in 2027, M Araya could add further housing options to Ampang’s property market.
